Here to just define party records default settings, the most important point here is to focus on settings of use duplicate check “Yes or No” , and delete parties with no role “Yes or No” , and selecting roles that can access private addresses and contacts.
Create address Books.

Here by clicking new you can create all your private address books with assigning the teams that will work on it

Create Relation types

Click new from the action pane ,define all types of relations between your Organization and others “ persons or Organizations”
Setup Address and its Purpose

Setup the purposes that will be assigned in the future to your addresses and contact information while creating new records.
There are many tabs, the first one is the parameters as shown below,
You can define the cells that will be validated according to the values list defined in its related tab.
The second tab and the main one in the address setup process is address format , from it you can define the suitable address format for each country.
The effect of your address setup will appear in the address fast tabs while creating a new customer or vendor.
Setup Registration types

Here is the setup of adding all legal agencies, with the categories and types of legal registration related to them .
For example creating agency of “Tax authority , Investment authority…etc” , and creating registration type like “ VAT , Income tax ….etc” and linking these types to categories if you want.
The effect of the setup will appear in the advanced tab in address section while creating new customer or vendor , and the idea here behind linking legal documents with addresses is some parties may have many roles like customer or vendor and each role may have many addresses like one for HQ and another for invoicing and so on , because of that documents liked to addresses.
Setup translations

Here you can find countries, addresses , names are translated , and you can enter the translation you need , this help in multinational companies and companies deals with other parties all over the world.
