1. Go to Organization administration > Global address book > Global address book.
2. Click New.
3. These Five fast-tabs aligned by red you will add all party data , like name , address book , address and contact details , you can also define if their any party relationship
4. The group of buttons blue circled
Firstly Contacts you can add contacts of all employees of that party , and the rest buttons are Roles that can be assigned to the party , click on the desired and create the role ( you can create the role also from it’s module) after creation the role assigned will appear in Role fast-tab of the party.
5. The green circled buttons are very important from Assign/Remove Parties you can add this party to the address book you want, you can merge duplicated parties also from here
6. Note that, party records with the same party role can’t be merged
7. Add the IDs of all registrations like Tax , investment Authority and insurance.
8. And finally attachments are available to be added from attachment button “ it’s a good step for going paperless and have soft archiving
In practice, you have the option if you know the party type and it’s role , you can create it directly from it’s related module “ creating customer from AR module “ and you can manage all parties from he global address book.
